Sicilian Deep Dish Pizza & Grandma Pie

Sal’s pizzeria is not only known for our NY-style pizza, but our Sicilian style pie and our Grandma Pie. Both of these pies are cut in the shape of a square, rather than the traditional circle. The biggest differences between these two style of pizzas is that the Sicilian pie has a thick crust and is made with traditional pizza sauce. The Grandma Pie has a medium crust and the sauce is cooked in a secret way, giving it more depth of flavor.

Brooklyn Style Pizza

Another popular menu item at Sal’s is our Brooklyn style pizza, which uses a combination of our house mozzarella blend and our handmade mozzarella. Brooklyn style pizza is finished off with oregano and parmesan before it is cooked in the oven and can be used for both our New York pizza or Grandma Pie.

Sal’s Pizzeria, located near Tustin, California, was founded by Matt Darienzo. Matt named the pizzeria after his father-in-law, Sal, out of his love for both Sal and the pizza he makes.

Conveniently located near Tustin and other neighboring cities, Sal’s Pizzeria is easily accessible to the 241 freeway and is located next to shopping centers that make Tustin pizza delivery a hassle free process for both commercial spaces and residences in the area.
